JOURNEE BROWNRIDGE

DANCER & CHOREOGRAPHER

about me

Journee Brownridge is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, creative director, and artist. Her work is known for its dynamic and compelling visuals, melding music with movement, art with athleticism. She has made her mark as an accomplished choreographer and dance captain at Berklee College of Music and the Boston Conservatory, displaying her work in projects from films shared online to music videos to productions in arenas.

Her mission is to inspire change, love, and empathy in her audience through radical passion in creative movement and dynamic storytelling. She is passionate about sharing unique art that evokes emotion within her audience, as well as uplifting queer artists and artists of color.

She has performed in numerous dance films and live performances including Marquis Floyd's "L.I.V.E.," numerous productions directed by Anthony Burrell and Tia Fuller, and pieces choreographed by award winning choreographers like Bo Park and Zoi Tatopolous. She has choreographed and directed many of her own original works including “The Eternal Aria of the Monster Heart,” Rowan’s “Tiger” music video, An Evening with Ollie Gullick, and more.

After graduating this May, she will be moving to Los Angeles where she plans to work on creative directing, choreographing, and performing in her own dance projects as well as collaborating with other creatives.
